FAQ's
How many pictures will we receive?
Each session is unique but I LOVE providing lots of photos.
Here is the minimum # of photo's per session type:
15 min Session Outdoor Session (10+ images)
30 min Session Outdoor Session (20+ images)
60 min Session Outdoor Session (40+ images)
Do you do newborn photography?
I do not offer newborn photography at this time. There are a few VERY talented photographers in town that have studios & the proper set-up for newborns.
I ONLY offer newborn sessions if they are done western ranch style outside with horses or something along that style.
And I just want you to have the most perfect experience!
Do you travel to other locations?
Yes, I am willing to travel (almost anywhere). I do charge travel and accommodation fees if that is applicable.
If the photoshoot is further than 60km radius from Fort St John, I charge an hourly travel rate.
Do you come to our location if you are taking equine photos?
Yes, I will travel to your location if we are doing an equine photography session.
If you want to trailer your horses to a specific location, I do not mind at all!
I also carry HCBC Insurance for myself.
How should we dress for our family session?
I always offer 1-2 clothing changes for my 30 min & 60 min sessions. (Purely because we have the time).
I recommend you bring 2 different styles of clothing pertinent to the season & the colors.
You can also bring shawls, hats, coats, blankets, and different sweaters.
We don’t feel very confident in front of the camera, is that ok?
Oh absolutely!
I am KNOWN to crack a few jokes and make you comfortable (yes, even your husband, who probably doesn't want to be there).
I will guide you through the whole session, including poses, placement, ideas, etc.
How large of a group can we have?
Large family groups are ok, as long as everyone is there on time. For groups larger than 10 people, I have a ONE hour session minimum.
This allows us to get every variation of couples, families, etc. Time for setting up as well.
If the session goes over the ONE hour session, I charge my hourly rate.
What is a Branding Photoshoot exactly?
A branding photoshoot is a photography session, usually an hour long, where I come to your business and take photos of the essence of your company.
Basically it is capturing your business, yourself, your services, your staff, etc in a manner that you can reuse the photos to share on social media, for marketing, on your websites etc.
